Whether you arrive at Glasgow or Edinburgh airport, you’ll enjoy a private transfer to St Andrews with our trusted local shuttle company. With the drive lasting a little over an hour, you can relax and enjoy the wonderfully scenic rolling hills and farmlands that make Central Scotland and Fife so grand. Upon arrival into St Andrews and after checking into your hotel, Kevin will meet you at The Old Course for a mini tour and introduction. Following the introduction and tour of St Andrews Kevin will then take you for a round on the famous Himalayas Putting green setting you up nicely for the week ahead.

Day 2 -Play “The Jubilee Course” - Ladies First

What better way to start your golfing vacation with the special lady in your life than playing The Jubilee Course at St Andrews. You may wish to order a breakfast in bed to enjoy a sleep in after your flight or a take your time to enjoy a leisurely ‘full Scottish’ (sausages, eggs, bacon, baked beans and tomatoes) in the breakfast dining room. In Scotland, we're not in a hurry and so enjoy reading the Scotsman newspaper to catch up on local affairs while you enjoy a selection of teas from the United Kingdom. Your golfing today is in honor of your wife or special partner. The third championship course at the Home of Golf, the Jubilee at St Andrews is considered by many to be the most challenging course on the famous Links. Built in 1897, it was originally intended for use by ladies and beginners; however, after seeing its prime golfing location between the New Course and the sea, the Jubilee was converted to a championship layout in 1988. With 6 par 5's, the Jubilee is actually a really enjoyable course for the ladies. You get nice shelter from the dunes for most of the front nine and some stunning scenery at the turn. Unlike the New and the Old, the Jubilee also has bronze tee's which allows you to move up for a shorter course should the wind get too much. Romantic Dinner in St Andrews St Andrews has some wonderful casual and more formal dining options. Stepping outside and walking along North Street, winding through the side streets to the cobbled Market Street across to South Street to the wee Vine Leaf Restaurant. It's a wonderfully intimate setting located at 131 South Street in St Andrews. From fresh mussels or oysters, to local farm pigeon and duck, it is not only the quaint interior but the delicious pastries, cakes and desserts which bring people constantly coming back to Vine Leaf Restaurant. Celebrate together in a hidden gem in St Andrews.

Day 3 -Play “The Old Course” & Couples Spa Treatment

Playing The Old Course as a single golfer adds a certain excitement to the experience. The early morning walk to the golf course, the excitement and anticipation whilst waiting for the shout and of course the guidance of your caddie during your round all make this a truly memorable experience. Your Old Course pilgrimage will start in the early hours, the excitement of playing the Old Course means sleeping will be difficult anyway. Staying just yards from the course, you will make your way down to the ‘Old Pavilion’ and join the singles line. As the sun rises over the North Sea and the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse you will no doubt share golfing stories with others in the line, perhaps even forge new friendships or golfing buddies for the week. Why not enjoy a bacon roll for breakfast in the pavilion as you wait or practice your putting on one of the two practice putting greens by the first tee. Watch as four-ball after four-ball tee off, feel the excitement grow as your number gets closer. After you get the shout, your caddie will be on hand to look after you, calming your nerves, escorting you to the first tee and choosing that vital first club. For first timers, it's a special occasion to finally walk in the footsteps of the greatest golfers that lived. For those playing 'the old' again, it's an opportunity to make good on some of the holes that made you swallow your pride in the past. Your caddies advice will be vital especially as the wind picks up and what may look like a simple 8 iron will become a 6 or 5 iron. With the front nine being the easier of the two, you will have to hold your nerve on the back nine if a good score is to be achieved. Nevertheless, as you reach the 14th tee the excitement will begin to grow as you get your first glimpse of the old town and your score may not be so important. Playing 17 and 18 are special moments and should be treasured forever, the tee shot on 17, the road hole bunker, the Swilcan Bridge, the 18th tee shot and of course the approach to the green which can often be daunting as the crowds begin arrive to cheer you on. Relax in the Kohler Waters Spa Relax and unwind at Kohler Waters Spa at the Old Course Hotel – the first Kohler spa experience outside the USA. Surprise your wife or partner by booking one of the many treatments on offer including manicures, pedicures and facials. Sooth those aching muscles from travel and walking the links of St Andrews with a deep tissue massage or hydrotherapy treatment. Speak to us about which treatment you would prefer so it can be included in your itinerary. Guests of the Old Course Hotel enjoy the complete use of the crystal steam room and relaxation lounge, thermal suite featuring experience showers, hydrotherapy pool, light therapy sauna, Japanese salt steam room and cool plunge pool. Don't forget there is a 20-meter Relaxation pool with waterfall and for a romantic setting, head up to the rooftop hot tub.

Day 4 -Play “Crail Golf Club, Balcomie Links” & Dine at The Grange

Today you’re in for a relaxing stroll along the sandy links course of the Crail Golfing Society. A favorite course for couples, Crail is 5922 yards in length, has three par 5’s, six par 3’s and nine par 4’s and the ninth oldest course in Scotland, no wonder it was designed by Old Tom Morris from 1894 to 1898. The drive from St Andrews to Crail takes around 20 minutes but Kevin will arrange to have you picked up 1 hour before your tee time. Along the way you will start to get a real feel for the day ahead with views of the North Sea from the car as you drive past the Castle Course, St Andrews Bay and Kingsbarns before eventually arriving in Crail. It is perfect for couples wishing to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views of the Firth of Forth while playing a mix of challenging and fun golf holes. Accuracy more than length is the key to Crail and the ladies have often walked away winning the points here against the men who often over reach on the risk vs reward and come away be tempered by Crail. Crail is a low key, very friendly and smaller course, tucked away on the headland 1 mile from the town of Crail and surrounded by farmland. Our favorite hole on the links course for the ladies has to be the par 3 14th hole. This downhill par 3 with stunning scenery in the backdrop is not the only distraction. The hole is protected by bunkers and accuracy is crucial in order to par this memorable golf hole. Be sure to take a picture before leaving the tee to capture the magical view. Romantic Dinner in St Andrews The Grange at St Andrews is simply one of our highest recommended restaurants for couples enjoy the Kingdom of Fife. This charming stone built restaurant has an earthy warmth to it with views across the fields on the outskirts of St Andrews. With Michelin star gourmet food, delightful wines and beautifully presented desserts including our favorite creme brulee, an evening dining in The Grange at St Andrews will be a highlight of your romantic couples golf vacation for many years to come.

Day 5 -Play “The New Course” at St Andrews & Dine at Award Winning Rocca Restaurant

Considered by many locals to be better than The Old Course at St Andrews, The New Course is the perfect introduction to links golf. By new, we mean it was built by Tom Morris in 1895. Anything less than 150 years old in Scotland is new! Yet don’t be fooled by its name. This course is a true test of links golf and allows you to experience the wonderful view of the Eden Estuary and tight fairways that will test every aspect of your mid irons. At the 18th green of ‘the New’ golf course, you enter the St Andrews Links Clubhouse and buy authentic St. Andrews merchandise and dine in the elegant yet informal Swilcan Restaurant where you can view golfers playing both courses as you reminisce your own New Course experience. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon overlooking the hallowed ground of St Andrews Links and enjoy some shopping for homewares or clothes in the vibrant town which is so easy to walk around. Romantic Dinner in Rocca in St Andrews Awarded 3 AA Rosettes, Rocca in St Andrews is a sophisticated upmarket restaurant. Jackets for the gentelmen are preferred and not required and evening dress for the ladies is a perfect compliment to this elegantly decorated restaurant. Fresh ingredients are sourced daily, from the East Neuk Lobster to Hand Dived West Coast Scallops, there is something to suit every palate. Toast with a glass of champagne and end the evening with a Scotch Whisky overlooking the 18th fairway of the Old Course. This iconic backdrop after a superb meal will give you goosebumps everytime you see golf at St Andrews being televised in the years to come.

Day 6 -Fly Home

Kevin's Message

"I have caddied for many couples over the past 13 years at St. Andrews and taken their photos on Swilken bridge. It's a special moment. Golf gives couples time to talk, forget about their busy lives back home and focus on having fun together. St. Andrews is a romantic town in many ways. It's full of life from students at the University to couples enjoying wine bars and music playing in the evening. Golf is a perfect vacation to spend time together off and on the course and rekindle that special magic."
